Create several Landing Page for multiple products with in 3 easy steps.
1. Just choose the predefined template.
2. Set the configuration details and feed the template with database globally.
3. Define SEO properties and publish the created page.
Landing Page:
A Landing Page, sometimes known as a lead capture page, is a page that appears when a potential customer clicks on an advertisement or a search-engine result link. The aim of a Landing Page is to help increase conversion rate, boost your online sales.
In marketing terms, it's a specialized page that visitors are directed to once they've clicked on a link in search engine like Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL etc.,, as a PPC (Pay Per Click) ad.
Types of Landing Pages:
The Landing Page is usually tightly focused on a particular product or service with the aim of getting the visitor to buy or take some form of action rapidly that will ultimately leads to a sale. There are two types of landing pages.
1. Static Landing Page: A Landing Page that contains only HTML content or simple Text/Images.
2. Dynamic Landing Page: A Landing Page that takes the details from the database such as products, prices, descriptions etc.
2.1.1. Create Landing Page:
To create landing page,
1. Click Landing Page (LP) > Create LP or press CTRL D. This will display a Create New LP dialog box (Refer: Create New LP).
2. Select template from template gallery. This will display the preview of template.
Note:
LPM enables the user to preview the templates in two views.
1. Normal View
2. Stretched View
Normal view enables users to view the templates partially, but clearly. In order to view the complete template, users want to drag their mouse in all the directions of template.
Stretched view enables users to view the template completely. But in some templates, users can't view the templates clearly, especially, in Multiple Products Repeat8, Multiple Products Repeat10, due to over contents.
Click the check box to view templates in Stretched view.
Preview: View the displayed landing page template in internet browser. Click Preview to do so.
3. Click Next. This will display a Landing Page Creation dialog box as shown below. (Refer: Create Landing Page 1)
Descriptions 1:
Page Info: Title of the landing page.
Keyword: The name in which the landing page is going to be created
Meta Info: The META tag is used to convey meta-information about the document, but can also be used to specify headers for the document.
Testimonials: It's a place for feedback from customers. It's an advertisers' success story or it's a letter of recommendation from a former buyer or organization that is familiar with a speaker's work.
Testimonials Image/Video: It's a place for the users to display their testimonial image/video.
4. Now Enter the Page title, Keyword and Meta Keyword Details for the Landing Page. If the selected Layout Contains Testimonial, enter the Testimonial details. Select the Testimonies Image or Video. Then press the Next Button, so that another Landing Page Creation form will display as shown below.
Note:
* Page Info, Heading, Meta Info should not exceed 60 characters.
* Testimonials details should not exceed 500 characters.
* Testimonials image should be in JPEG, GIF and BMP format (Preferred image size is 200 X 200 pixels).
* Testimonials video should be in .FLV format and it should not exceed 3 minutes.
Enter the values to the Display Fields (Refer: Create Landing Page 2).
Descriptions 2:
Hero Shot Image: It's a Global name of image for a landing page. It can be defined as the best picture of a series, often chosen to represent the whole series.
Hero Shot Large Image: It's an enlarged image of the hero shot image. If the customer clicks on the hero shot image, the specified image will open on the Internet Browser in enlarged form. The intention of the Hero Shot Large Image is to view the products clearly.
Alternate Text: The Alternate Text is the name of the hero shot image.
Hyperlink: It's a referral site name. Once the customers click on the image, it will redirect a link to a new web page.
Sub Heading: Title for set of products. It's a category title.
Offer Image: Image for our offered products.
Priority: Priority of products. In case of multiple products, products will display according to the mentioned priority.
Offer Explanation: Title of related products.
Tagline Description: A few words explaining about the products.
Bulleted List: Features of the products will display in bulleted list form.
Add Products: Add products from the database. To do so, click on the Add Products button, a Products dialog box will appears as shown below.
Quick Search: (Refer: Quick Search)
Power Search: (Refer: Power Search)
Note:
LPM enables two types of search to search the products from database,
1. Quick Search: Search the product from the database on the basis of Product ID.
2. Power Search: Search the product from the database on the basis of Product ID or Product Name or by Description.
Select the type of search, enter product details and click Search. This will display Available Products. From the available products, select require products and click (add). So that the products will display in Selected Products list box.
Select products and click OK. In case of multiple products, set priority to the products.
LPM allows editing, removing products by clicking Edit Products, removing buttons respectively. Then press the Next Button, so that another Landing Page Creation form will display as shown below (Refer: Create Landing Page 3 ).
You can also enter the Related Products details using this window; you can enter up to 4 related products per landing page.
Descriptions 3:
Product Id: Click on the button, a Products dialog box will appears. From that select your product on the basis of Product ID, Product Name and Description or simply by clicking search from the Database.
Product Description: A few words explaining about related products.
Custom Image: Select image for the related products from local drive or from database. You can select the image for the related products from the database, by clicking check box provided.
Hyperlink: It's a referral site name. Once the customers click on the image, it will redirect a link to a new web page.
Create Landing Page: Create landing page for the above mentioned values.
Preview: View the displayed landing page template in internet browser. Click Preview to do so.
Web server: Publish the created landing page to web server (FTP).
Local System Drive: Publish the created landing page to system hard drive.
Publish: Publish the created landing page to mentioned path.
Enter the values to the Display Fields.
After enter all this values, click Create Landing Page to create landing page with the mentioned values. Click Publish to publish the landing page to the required path. Click Preview, to preview the landing page. Your preview will appear as shown below (Refer: Landing Page).
